Andrew Ferguson, also known as Outrage and Nomine, is a respected figure in UK dance music with a career spanning nearly three decades. Beginning as DJ Rage in 1995, he founded Shock FM, a pirate radio station that quickly gained attention, and began international touring at 16. Driven by a passion for jungle and drum and bass, he later adopted the name Outrage to avoid confusion with MC Rage. In the mid 2000s, he played a key role in the J Tek movement, blending jungle and techno, while his Nomine project gained global recognition for its diverse sound. Recent releases include labels such as Metalheadz Platinum, Function Records, Overshadow, Future Retro, and his own Backlash, alongside a debut solo album on Function Records. He also founded Education and Bass, a blended music technology platform supporting alternative education, special schools, prison education, and learners facing physical or mental challenges.
