Claire Batty is the Inclusion Lead for Heart of England Music Hub and Team Manager for Solihull Music. In this role, she has worked closely with colleagues across Solihull Music to design and deliver a high quality Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) offer for children, young people, and families. A recent highlight of this work was facilitating opportunities for Solihull Music’s Inclusive Music groups to perform at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Music for Youth Proms in November 2025, showcasing the musical achievements of young people with SEND on a national stage.Claire has also led the development of Solihull Sounds Collective, a bespoke music production programme providing hands on, creative music making opportunities for young people. Delivered in partnership with Solihull Youth Justice Service, the programme enables participants to work alongside professional musicians to learn how to create, record, and perform their own original music.
