Tony Nwachukwu is a music producer, DJ, lecturer and music technology consultant who produces and delivers a wide range of initiatives for music creators, brands and learning institutions across the UK and Europe. He specialises in connecting the worlds of music production and learning by creating innovative exchanges and opportunities for music-focused creative professionals and industry
He is the founder and CEO of CREATE DEFINE RELEASE (CDR) a community-first organisation set up to provide meaningful and sustainable pathways for music producers, artists and the industry. CDR’s programme has a national and international reach with ongoing collaborations in Berlin, Nairobi and across cities in the UK. These range from projects for children and young people, activations at festivals such as We Out Here and Dimensions, to projects that hone the development of some of today's most forward-thinking artists, producers and labels including Sampha, SBTRKT, Floating Points, Maya Jane Coles, Eglo Recordings and DBA.
His music production credits include *Attica Blues* (MoWax / Sony) and project monikers ‘NEPA Allstar’, ‘The Wach’, and ‘WaH-chU-kU’. His extensive and diverse production and remix credits include Chris Ofili, Courtney Pine, The Cinematic Orchestra, Jazzanova, Duran Duran and U.N.K.L.E. Companies and organisations worldwide have utilised his lecturing, consulting, and learning concepts, including Red Bull Music Academy, Ableton, Tate Britain, Native Instruments, Apple, The Roundhouse, BIMM, London South Bank University and the University of East London. He also recently served as a non-executive board member for Resident Advisor (RA)
